Closing of the Informal Regional Meeting on the UN Global Framework on Ammunition
After two days of productive discussions, the Informal Regional Meeting on the UN Global Framework on Ammunition has successfully concluded in Lomé, Togo.
Participants from West and Central African States, along with UN entities and regional organizations, have identified key regional priorities, discussed best practices, and explored strategies for the effective implementation of the Global Framework.
Key outcomes:
· Strengthened regional cooperation and coordination for safer ammunition management.
· Identification of region-specific challenges and opportunities.
· Commitment to continue collaborative efforts toward achieving the 15 objectives of the Global Framework.
