On 27 April, UNREC made a presentation at a joint UNMAS-ODA exchange meeting on the recent ODA-AMAT mission to Equatorial Guinea in the aftermath of the 7 March explosions in Bata.

 On 26 April, branch meeting was held with the High Representative to discuss progressive actions regarding disarmament.

 On 20 and 26 April, UNREC attended virtual meetings with CAB-AMAT-UNMAS-UNOPS colleagues to discuss the costs estimate part of the project to assist Equatorial Guinea at their request after the 7 March disaster in Bata.

 On 20 April 2021, UNREC met with Gal. Felix A. Kadangha, the newly nominated President of the NatCom Togo by the Government of Togo. This was the opportunity to discuss collaboration and upcoming projects in Togo.

 On the 12, 14 and 16 April, UNREC participated in the online workshop on the Convention on the Physical Protection of Nuclear Material (A/CPPNM), organized by AFRICSIS.

 On 9 April, UNREC personnel participated in a townhall meeting of the UN personnel in the host-country, essentially devoted to the covid-19 pandemic and measures to cope with it, including vaccination.

 On 7 April, UNREC delivered a presentation on the relevance of the PoA and regional disarmament instruments in a Workshop organized by UNMAS Geneva on trends and opportunities in the fight against mines and their devastating impact; attended by several Ambassadors to the Conference on Disarmament.

 On 6 April, there was a video conference on joint UNREC-UNMAS collaboration with DRC on supporting the effective implementation of SALW National Action Plan.
