On 21 and 22 May, the United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs (UNODA), through its Regional Centre for Peace and Disarmament in Africa (UNREC), organized the African Regional Consultation on the Arms Trade Treaty at the headquarters of the African Union in Addis Ababa. 
The Preparatory Committee (PrepCom) for the 2015 Review Conference of the Parties to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) will hold its first session from 30 April to 11 May 2012 at the Vienna International Centre. This meeting is the first of three sessions that will be held prior to the 2015 Review Conference.
The Special Representative of UN Secretary General and Director of the United Nations Office for West Africa, Said Djinnit, paid a working visit to the headquarters of the UNREC Monday, January 23, 2012. During this visit, Mr. Djinnit discussed with the Director of UNREC Dr. Ivor Richard Fung several activities related to the ongoing partnership between UNOWA and UNREC. More Articles...
